Hi I'm Christian Anderson

I'm a musician. I'm a Missionary. I'm a follower of Christ. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm at the end of my senior year in High School and I couldn't be more excited for what is to come in my life. At the end of July, I will have the opportunity to serve the lord in preaching his gospel as a missionary in Seoul, South Korea. I am so unbelievably happy for this chance I have. In my free time, I love to play and listen to music. When I can, I write music and release it. I also also enoy skateboarding whenever I can. Another big hobby of mine is watching and playing soccer and hockey. I am a die hard fan of those!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how this gospel makes me feel. I am a Mormon because of the knowledge that it has given me. I was born in the church and in these past few years I've been trying to find out whether or not this is the true church, Christ's church. I looked for knowledge and faith in the scriptures. I found just that. After reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know whether or not it is true, I can tell you that it is, beyond the shadow of a doubt. Joseph Smith, who translated the Book of Mormon, saw Christ and God, and restored Christ's church here on earth, was a true prophet of God. I know that today we have a true prophet of God as well, Thomas S.Monson. Through him, we can know what God asks of us and what guidance he has for us. I know that Christ lives and that he dies for me and you. It is unbelievable to me that he would do that. I love him so much. I also have a testimony of the Spirit. About 2 years ago, my mother and I were driving home from an early Scripture Study class at our church. As she drove us home, she began to seem weary and tired. I looked to her and saw emptiness in her eyes. Suddenly, she passed out and began to swerve the car, fast, into oncoming traffic. Frightened, I grabbed the wheel and puled us over the median back onto the right side of the road. As we approached a red light, I turned the car with one hand in an attempt to escape certain death. As we turned, we continued to speed down the road, 60..70...80... mph and going faster. As we went, a voice in my head told me to take her foot off the gas and pull over. My mother then started to seize. In answer, I grasped her foot and ripped it off the gas, proceeding to press the brakes with the same hand. At the same time, I was able to turn the to the side of the road. When we stopped, i called 911 and pulled my mother out simultaneously. I did CPR on her in the middle of the road until the paramedics came. I know that my Heavenly fateher was watching out for me.

How I live my faith

In my church, as serve as the the first assistant of the 16-18 year old young men to the Bishop. With this, I am in charge of all of the young men that are in my age group. I help them throughout any struggles they may have, as well as organizing activities for them. Another task I have is making sure that the people of the ward I am in are okay. If they need anything, it is my responsibility to do the best of my ability to help them!
