Hi I'm Tasha C. Bush

Hello! I am from the beautiful Utah. I'm taking a break from school & serving a mission, I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, hello! My name is Tasha and I am the youngest of 8 siblings and I have wonderful parents. I love having adventures and I am currently going on the best one yet, to serve a mission in Florida. I am thrilled and very humbled to have such an awesome opportunity to share my beliefs full time. In fact I leave tomorrow, ha ha! I plan on finishing my college education after my mission and I think I'm going to be brave and go for majoring in my passions. I have many passions which is why it has been so hard to pick a major but I'm currently thinking about dance, music and possibly theater. I love the cheezy idea of making the world a better place and teaching or therapy is very appealing to me. I like to think that the world could be better if it started with individuals knowing they are pretty awesome individuals and that they are loved and have the ability to overcome life's challenges. One of my favorite sayings is, "Pain is Inevitable, Suffering is a Choice." I choose to be a happy, fun, loving person and hope that my interactions with others can leave them happy and inspired to be more of the person they want to be. I like living many sides of life and just because I am an artistic person doesn't mean I don't like sports. I love golf, soccer, and just about everything, I have fewer dislikes then likes. So to sum up me, I love people, I love life, but most importantly I love God because everything else I love wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for Him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because to me it is the definition of living life to its fullest. I've taken the time to discover if I believe & I've prayed to know if it is true. I can happily say with all that I am, that it is true. God is real & knows us personally & provided us a way to return to Him through His Son, our Brother & Savior, Jesus Christ. I know of the reality of God's love & time & time again am astonished with His tender mercies, blessings, "coincidences," & presence in my every day life. I have read the book of Mormon & know that it adds upon the truths & testimonies in the Bible. The Book of Mormon accompanied with the Bible is music to the soul, they are in synced to the melody and create harmony of God's word & way. They are the instruments that bless us to learn & help our lives become more in tuned to God's. I know that Joseph Smith was an honest, courageous man, who was willing to put forth God's will at the cost of his own life to bring the gospel in these latter days. Joseph Smith among prophets of the bible & book of Mormon was a prophet & a man of God. I sustain President Monson as a prophet and know He communicates messages of truth, hope, & most importantly the reality of the existence of God & Christ. I know my Savior died for me & for all of us & more importantly I know He lives & will return. I know it is Him who has been there for me in the most painful moments & experiences of my life. It was Him who's arms were around me whenever I was hurt or scared as a child & as an adult. It was Him who's spirit strongly urged me to not give up on life when I was at the lowest points as an adolescent. It was Him who opened up my perspective of who I really am. It was Him who comforted me during the times of the lost of loved ones or the pains of unexpected health conditions upon cherished family members. Most importantly, it was Him who shared in my joys, successes & continues brightening up my life. To Him I thank & love with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday, going out of my way to talk to others and making sure people feel welcomed and that someone knows they exist. I think my favorite calling I have had in church was being able to teach, I love it! I also love my faith, and I strive to do the best I can. I am full of imperfections but I'm so grateful to have a patient Heavenly Father who loves me no matter what. I will be living my faith to its fullest as I leave for a mission but I plan to continue to apply aspects of a missionary life style when I return home as best as I can.
