Hi I'm Jonathan

I was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and love to play sports. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Jonathan. i am 19 years old and love to play sports. i love to spend my spare time hanging with my friends and creating great memories. i have taken one semester of college and still have no idea what i want my career to be. a quiet night watching movies is always a great night. i love to chat and always there to help.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised by my parents within the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. i did not become a true member until i was baptized at the age of 8. being a member of the church i do not fully know the feeling of being without the gospel. but i do know the feeling i have being a part of it. and this feeling has given me a sense of peace and belonging. i know this church is true and i know Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us. it is that love that our heavenly father has to send his only begotten son to die for us that lets me know that i am loved and that makes me want to be more like him each day. i love our father in heaven and i know that Christ created miracles in the past. i know that Joseph Smith saw God the father and the son. i know he translated the plates into what is now known as the Book of Mormon through the power of the holy ghost combined with his unwavering faith. every word in this book is true. every story has happened. every miracle performed happened. i know miracles are still happening today due to the power of God. we have a prophet today. his name is President Thomas S. Monson and he was called of god. he speaks to us directly from our Heavenly Father's mouth. i want to leave this testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week on sundays and love the feeling that comes with attending. in my faith i am called to be a ward missionary which entails that i include all and make sure everyone there feels welcome. as well i go out with the full-time missionaries to help spread the truth of our gospel. in my faith i also do the hometeaching that has bean assigned to me. i love hometeaching with my companion to those whom i visit. they are incredible people and i have really enjoyed getting to know them better.
