Hi I'm Bobbi-Jo

I'm a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to make things, I like to learn new crafts such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, tatting,... anything that keeps my hands busy! I have a degree in law with German (that's the language not the legal system of that country) and I intend to use that to make sure my children have all the support they need in their education.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members before I was born so I've been a member my whole life. However, I remember when I was around 14 or so I read something in a church magazine that helped me gain a testimony of my own. I had been praying to find out if the church was true, I wanted to know for myself, to get my own answer to that question. I read a story of another girl who had been doing the same thing, and then realised that the answer she had been getting was that she already knew that the church was true. I felt the spirit really strongly that yes, I already knew that the church was true, I didn't need to ask any more, I knew that my Saviour loved me and that the book of mormon was true. Everything that I have learned since then has only reinforced this feeling. I often remember the day I sat in my dad's car waiting for him to finish in the bank reading a magazine, the memory gives me strength when I don't see everything so clearly. I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father who knows who I am and who has a plan for me. I want to teach this truth to my daughters because I know that he loves them more than I can even imagine and that makes me so happy.

How I live my faith

I teach the children in our congregation songs about how much their Heavenly Father loves them and their part in His plan. I also help the young women set and achieve goals, anything from how to sew on a button to... well anything that they want to learn how to do or any goal that they want to achieve.
