Hi I'm Alli Wright

Twin, rock climber, hiker, athlete, and missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the out-doors! My absolute favorite activities incude: hiking, camping, rock climbing, yoga, white water rafting, and snowboarding. I spend most of my time in the mountains or studying. I am working towards a nursing degree and will later begin a second degree in international studies. I currently am head of a family medical practice as a Medical Assistant and love what I do there. I am just about to embark on a mission to Montreal, Canada speaking French and couldn't be more excited about it! I have a twin sister and a total of 6 in my family. I love this gospel and live to share the joy it brings!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church and have always know that it is true. But, it was not until I was 16 years old, that I truly had to rely on the Lord for my trials. I was born an athelete. I have played softball since I could walk and have loved volleyball since middle school. after 2 softball state championships, and a few scholarship offers, I was in an ATV accident and broke my leg. This led to almost 3 years in and out of surgery and on and off crutches. I was told that 1 of 2 things could happen: 1. My leg never heals, and we must amputate, or 2. I keep my leg and it will never be the same. Either way, the list of things I would never be able to do was longer than I could bare. Through much hope, prayer, fasting, and faith I have been healed. 100%. I have done more hiking than ever before in my life, ran a half marathon, and learned how to rock climb all within 1 short year. There is no medical reasoning to how that is possible. I know that it is through the Lord. He gave me what I could not attain for myself, and that is a working body. Minus a large ammount of scars, it is like it never happened. I owe it all to my God. He fixes what we are not able to. I will never be able to repay him for what he has done for me...given my life back. For this, and counless other reasons, this is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently am the sports chair-woman for my single's ward. I have been doing it for about a year and couldn't be more happy with a calling. Soon, I will be serving as a full-time missionary in Quebec.
