Hi I'm Tyler Ryan Wheeler

I'm a Idaho country boy. now serving a mission in the Papeete Tahiti mission. i love my country, my family, my guns, and my god.

About Me

I was born in raised in the boondocks, and also in a rock solid Mormon home, where my parents made dang sure i knew the true gospel. I'm a twin and love my family, this church has given me everything and most importantly good parents. I love being a cowboy, we have five horses and one on the way. i love going on long hunting trips with my brothers and my dad. I'm a critic when it comes to movies. . I worked in construction for dome technologies in Louisiana and Mississippi before coming on my mission in Papeete Tahiti where I now serve. I speak French and Tahitian. i love life, i love the outdoors. i have a love for mudding out in Bone Idaho with my jeep and some friends. i love my Justin cowboy boots.... ya thats about me.

Why I am a Mormon

"Why am i a Mormon?" great question. for most of my life growing up the answer would be because my parents are, but as i grew up i discovered that i needed more then that, i needed to know for myself that this church is true. im a very logical thinker, this church has the unique answers to question that most churches just don't. before deciding to go on a mission i was lost in anti Mormon and atheist literature which really shook my testimony if the church wasn't true then i no longer believed in god. finally i put myself to the challenge of Moroni to the test and asked god. it wasn't my father or mother that told my it was true, neither my bishop or the missionaries, it was god himself through the holy ghost that made me a believer, not just in Mormonism but in god . i love this faith, it has helped me become someone i could never imagine. my Saviour runs this church, through his living servants and prophets his sacred work is manifested. i preach it, i live it, and i know it.

How I live my faith

I am now serving a mission in Papeete Tahiti in the city of FAA'A as a zone leader. Beside preaching the gospel i am constantly invested in serving the Tahitian people. My companion and i were recently on the news here for working on a English program with the state to provide free English classes, to help communicate with tourists, given by the Mormon missionaries and working with the community of FAA'A at the same time. I'm proud of my work and contribution that the church has helped me make and the grand positive impact that we have had here. it has changed my life, but also hundreds of others as i have been called to consecrate two years of my life as a ambassador of the lord. i love this work and am grateful to be apart of it. my twin brother also serves as a missionary for the church in Thailand, we will be finishing soon together.
