Hi I'm Dani

My favorite thing to do is laugh. I love hiking. I love old music and movies. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

One of my favorite authors, Charles Dickens, once said, "There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter." I don't think there's anything better than having a good laugh with family and friends. I also love the outdoors, especially the Rocky Mountains. I'm always up for a hike or just a walk to someplace new. I am almost always singing, and in my spare time I like to listen to old jazz music or watch old movies. I am double-majoring in International Studies and Business, while also trying to double-minor in Arabic and Spanish. I might be in a little over my head, but I'm loving every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

When I turned eight, I decided to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I got older, I developed a firm testimony for myself. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that my Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins, and that this was done out of love. He did for me what I could not do for myself. My Savior, and innocent and perfect Son, willingly walked a very lonely and painful path so that I will never have to. Christ rose out of His tomb on the third day, and He lives! He lives and He continues to lead His church on the earth today, calling prophets to be His mouthpiece. I know that because of Christ's Atonement, I will one day be able to return to my Father in Heaven to live with Him and my family for eternity. I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loves me, and I love Him. I will stand as a witness of Him and live my life in a way that allows others to see His countenance in my own.

How I live my faith

My faith is incorporated into every minute of my life. It influences all of my decisions, the way I see the world, how I treat other people, and, quite simply, it's what makes me so happy. I recently received my call to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am overjoyed with the opportunity to serve and teach the people of Panama!
