Hi I'm Earl d'Hulst

I was born in the United States. I have lived In Belfast, Northern Ireland for 34 yeares. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am an American citizen living in the United Kingdom. I work for my local authority as the Pest Control Manager. I am a father and a grandfather.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm belief that this Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) is the restored Church of Jesus Christ on the Earth. Jesus stands at the head of it. He reveals his will to a living prophet as in days of old. The teachings of His gospel bring clarity and knowledge to our puropse here on earth. It gives direction as to the live I should lead. It gives me pure truth regarding the atonement of Jesus Christ and what that means for me personally. Above all it lets me know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me personally and love me in spite of my failings.

How I live my faith

I am the Bishop (Minister) of my Ward (congrregation). This is the second time serving in the position. It is done on a voluntary basis and takes up a lot of my spare time. I enjoy going out to visit the members of my congregation and looking after their spiritual needs. I try to live my faith as best as I can. It is difficult in the world in which we live at present, but I ensure that those who meet me see and experience something different. I always try to let people know what fait I belong to. BEing an American usually has them asking me where I'm from and that leads to being able to remark about the Church.
