Hi I'm Mark

I'm from Cumbernauld, I'm a busy husband and father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father to 3 wonderful children. I work 4 Part time jobs at the moment so life is very busy for me. Recently I have taken up hill walking which is the perfect hobby for me as we live near the most stunning mountains in the lower highlands. What is even better about it is that my family enjoy hill walking too and we regularly spend our free time together admiring the beautiful Scottish hills.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon for almost eight years, My wife has been a Mormon all of her life. My wife invited me to Church as they had a new building. I came along to see the new building and met two excited young men. The two men were missionaries and were very kind to me. I invited them to come to my home as I had a few questions about where we came from and where we go when we die. The missionaries were able to answer these questions and by the power of the Holy Ghost I knew what they had told me was true.I was baptised soon afterwards ( the first baptism in our lovely new font) my testimony has grown more and more as I attend church and learn more about my savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My family spend a little time together each day reading our scriptures and praying together. This is very valuable time for us all each day as its often the only quite time we have. We all look forward to this time each day. We also set aside an evening one day each week to have some family time. We learn together we play together and we laugh together. We all take turns to be in charge of the lessons, games and treats. We all enjoy our family night. I attended my Church meetings every Sunday and I'm so excited about my new calling to help teach the young men in my ward.
