Hi I'm Weston Meacham

I grew up in utah, love to play basketball, serving a mission in spokane speaking marshallese, and im a mormon

About Me

i was born in mesa arizona, i grow up playing alot of sports, but stuck with basketball all the way. i am now serving in spokane washington speaking marshallese. i got my call and thought to my self, "what the heck is marshallese?" i now have learned the language and love the people here. i have 8 people in my family, three older sisters, one younger brother and one younger sister, and my mom and dad. i am blessed to also have 4 nieces and nephews with one more nephew on the way, with 2 great brother in laws. i am the first out of my siblings to go on a mission. my mom served in france and my father in taiwan. i plan to play basketball and study ... something in college ha ha. i cant wait to raise i family of my own in the church and continue to serve the lord and show to him that i will forever be a servent of the lord.

Why I am a Mormon

i grew up in th church so i dont have some cool convertion story like everyone else. but there is a time that i rellized that this church is true and that what i am doing is the right thing what i am suppost to be doing. at this time a am on my mission. and while i have been on my mission i have leared so very much. i am sad to say that i dod not read the book of mormon all the way front to back before my mission. i have been close meny times but never did finish it. i have finished it now though. and my testimony of it has sky rocketed. i prayed to my father to see if this book was true. after i pray i thought to myself. "okay, i read the book, bring on the testimony" after awhile i thought to myself that i didnt need a huge spiritual moment to see that i was converted to the lord. i relized that i have always believed. elder ballard said it the best " our testimonys will mostly come slowely, like a sunrise. little by little we see new things in the distance and at the end of the sunset we see the whole picture and relize how much we have learned or see'n threwout the whole thing". my family are all mormon. and i plain to be my whole time. to hold tight to the iron rod, and to never look at tempation. satan can not temp us if we hold fast to the teaching of the lord. follow what he says, the commandment, the word in the book of mormon, the prophet, and all other things. i love this religion. i thank god for it everyday. i am mormon because of my trials, and i am glade and proud to say that i am child of god. and i am a mormon

How I live my faith

i live my faith by sharing the gosple to all those that i see. i love to share my testimony with those all around me. i strive to follow the example of my lord and try to do what he would do in all situations. i love to read the scriptures and learn all that i can from them. they are a blessing from the lord. i also love pouring out my heart to my lord in prayer. to converse with him is a blessing for sure. he can help me with anything that i ask him to help me with. i also live my faith by being a holy priesthood holder at all times. it is very important for men to be holding this power that god has givin us. i thank him for the oppertunity to hold it and to work in his sons name, jesus christ. i strive to help every child of god and help them understand his love to us.
