Hi I'm Mary

I grew up in California, then moved to Utah when I was 12. I love music, being outside and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mary Pew. I'm finishing up my freshman year at Utah State University. I just turned 19 and have received my mission call to the Arizona Scottsdale Spanish Speaking mission! I love music, singing, reading, exercising, being outside and spending time those that I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because this gospel is my pride and joy; it is what I live for. It provides a purpose for this life, and has taught me more than I could ever learn solely on my own. I grew up as a Mormon, so going to church and participating as an active member of this church has always been second nature to me. Though I have always known the gospel my whole life, I still needed to learn it on my own. In my own way, I have become converted to this gospel through studying, pondering and praying to know if this church is true, and if the Book of Mormon is true. I have come to know that it is. God has helped me in so many ways learn the importance of this gospel, and has prompted me to do and feel things that have given me a testimony. I know that this church is true. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my ward as a coordinator for planning certain activities. I am also preparing to serve a full time mission starting June 12. That will be my new calling for the next 18 months.
