Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Husband. I love football. I have a bendy arm. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I got married recently to the love of my life. I served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Scotland/Ireland. I loved going around meeting different people, teaching them the Gospel. I'm going to start studying Building Surveying in September of this year. This is something that i've wanted to pursue for a while, and i'm excited to start studying.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, so I have always had the teachings of the church in my life, but I didn't know for myself that they were true. When I started to read the Book of Mormon for the first time, I couldn't put it down! I couldn't get enough of it (and i'm not one for reading). I felt a great excitement when reading it, I loved the people, the stories, and most of all, the Spirit that I felt when reading it. Every time I read the book, I could feel my testimony growing. I've had many personal witnesses that this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that the Book of Mormon is true, that there is a living prophet on the earth today, leading us and guiding us the way the Lord Jesus Christ would. I know that this Church and Gospel is true... And I LOVE IT!

How I live my faith

I try to live what I have been taught. Always trying to improve myself, through the influence of the Holy Ghost, and always relying on Jesus Christ. I am currently in the Young Men's programme in the Church. Which is basically the youth club. It's great teaching them on Sundays about the Gospel, and then during the week, we have allot of fun doing activities.....usually chair football!

Are Mormons Christians?

Joe
YES! We are Christians. We know that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. We believe that He is the Saviour and Redeemer of the world. Show more Show less
