Hi I'm Alison

I've lived in England my whole life. I'm a stay at home mum. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single mum with one daughter - I love spending time with her, we are like sisters! Family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time finding out about my ancestors and how they lived. I love reading (biography, crime, just about anything really - I love books!). I also enjoy cooking, crochet and shopping (mostly of the window variety!) I have been a Mormon for as long as I can remember - my parents joining the Church when I was very young. I love the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot imagine what my life would be like if I were not a Mormon. It is in every facet of my life. I love to read the scriptures. They bring peace and strength to me, help me make important decisions and brings me closer to Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been a teacher at Church since I was a teenager. I love teaching others to better understand and live the gospel. When I was in my 20's I had the great opportunity to serve a mission in Canada. I found that one of the most important things I taught others was that they were a child of a loving Heavenly Father and they are never alone. This truth has been important in my own life as I have struggled with the challenges of raising a child on my own and all the other rubbish life throws at you!
