Hi I'm David

I was born in Repton ,Derbyshire. I am involved in the progress of Natural Health . I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a straight forward single father of a sixteen year old young man who loves the gospel and has a great social life attending dances , sport events and other activities with others of his age .I joined the church at the age of 37

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives, loves us, and has a plan for us. He yearns for us to walk in ways, to change, and become like him. The Book of Mormon affirms that Jesus is our Saviour and Redeemer, and has paid an infinite price so that we can return to our heavenly home. I have been guided by the Holy Spirit into paths that I would never have followed on my own accord, and been blessed for it. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and led by a living prophet, and that if we will live our lives in harmony with its teachings, we will find joy in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first, and foremost, trying to treat others with respect and kindness. The Gospel teaches me that all people are deserving of that kind and respectful approach. I have learned to see others as children of God with amazing potential. The leaders of the Church have taught that we are better served to see people for what they are capable of becoming rather than seeing people for their faults and weaknesses. This helps me to treat others with love and to view others as capable of great change and of great things in general. I also live my faith by trying to regularly pray and read the scriptures in order to better understand Jesus Christ and his teachings. I have learned the value of serving others and serving in my community and I try to act on those teachings regularly. I have also learned that the most vulnerable in our communities and society are the ones the Savior would want us to take special care of. I also serve in the church as an assistant mission leader in order to help others learn about Jesus Christ and His Teachings. I have served in multiple capacities in the Church and I have grown from each of those opportunities tremendously. I have learned that by living my faith, I am often the greatest benefactor of that service.
