Hi I'm Daniel Smith

I'm from Utah. I'm an avid Mountain Biker, Uber driver, Soon-To-Be Entrepreneur, iPhone lover, and Husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an outdoors person. I enjoy doing things that push the limits of dangerous. I mountain bike, I've been skydiving, and I love camping. I am a huge car enthusiast and I am attending a university for a Marketing degree in order to one day start my own business helping others find and buy cars. I'm a recovering addict and I pray every day for the strength to find and help others. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving Mormon family and was raised in the church with the gospel principles guiding my life. I have made mistakes in life, but I continue to live the gospel while on my own because of the peace and joy that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I do my best to gain Christlike attributes so that when I see Him, I will be like Him. I know that through living the principles of the gospel and the teachings of Jesus Christ I can live a life full of direction from Him as well as be ready to see Him after this life. Any time I have questions about life or really anything I can find the answers in the scriptures or in the teachings of the living prophets. I know that God lives and loves me. He directs my life when I turn my will over to Him. I know that he speaks through living prophets on the earth today and I love to hear His words. I strive for learning and expanding my testimony and knowledge of the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer and I will forever be in His debt. I love my life!

How I live my faith

I am a Returned Missionary and I spent 2 years in Russia. I do my best to read and study the scriptures every day. I am in a singles ward at College and do my best to help everyone in my ward feel loved and included. I do my best to find ways to serve someone else every day, though I am not perfect at this. My goal for every day is to make someone else smile. I do my best to live the commandments and I have had to give up several job opportunities for jobs in order to keep this goal. I have found that the Lord blesses me immensely for keeping his commandments. I love my life!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Daniel Smith
The best way to know if Mormonism is true is two-fold I think. 1-Try it and 2-Sincerely pray and ask God if this is right for you. As you live the commandments and as you reach out to God, He will bless you with the peace, joy, and hope that you need as a confirmation that this is true. It may not come right away, but it will come. Trust in the Lord and just try it! Show more Show less
