Hi I'm Caden

I have been raised in Utah county, Utah, I am an Eagle scout. I am from a honorable line of warriors. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love keeping my body in peak physical condition, and playing whatever sport is in season. I almost received my associate's degree upon graduation of high school. I ranked 12 in Nationals in a Science competition. I am an Eagle scout, and served in the Civil Air Patrol. Both of my grandfathers served in the military one in the army and the other in the navy, my father served in the Air force and my brother is currently in the marine corps. I plan on going to college and serving in the Army as an officer in the 82nd Airborne division, after serving my mission in Veracruz Mexico, for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love working on cars, 4 wheeler's and pretty much anything with an engine. I love to read, write poetry, play and compose music, and learn about history. I also really love hiking and survival camping. But what I love most is spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Feb. 11, 2013 three of my siblings and I were returning home from my cousins mission farewell when we were in an accident. I was pinned inside the car unconcious and not breathing. I was life flighted to the hospital where my uncles and grandfather were already there waiting to give me a blessing. While I was unconscious I saw and heard things that forever changed my life. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and care for us. And most of all I know that their Angels watch over and protect us constantly. Without my savior and Heavenly Father I would not be here today.

How I live my faith

I attend church as often as I can. I help the youth in the ward by getting to know them and getting them involved in youth activities. I visit members in the ward to see how they are doing and to see what I can do to help them. I learn new hymns on the piano so I can play them at church. I learn new songs to sing with my brothers so we can inspire those around us.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Caden
Our bodies are a temple. Would you grafiti a Temple? Not clean and up keep a Temple? In order to help stay pure and clean we take care of our bodies by staying in physical shape, eating nurtritious foods and drinks that wont harm our bodies, by going to bed early and arising early to keep our mind and body invigorated. We clean our selves dailey and put nothing on ourselves that would leave permanent damage such as tatoos and extra piercings. We should take care of our selves for the body is the temple and within our temple is our spirit. And our bodies and spirit coexist one affecting the other. Our soul is both combined.
