Hi I'm Brad

I am an aerospace engineer. I have lived and worked in Northern Utah where the Space Shuttle boosters are built.

About Me

I am 63 years old. I live on a 10 acre farm of some of the best soil in Utah. My wife and I grow a garden every year. We love tending it and seeing how we can improve the production with the things we learn. Each piece of ground is different from the next and what is learned about gardening one piece does not necessarily guarantee success with the next piece. We plant in April and can eat the produce until well past January of the next year, all from a 40 x 40 foot garden. The Lord certainly does bless our efforts. I love the seasons. In the winter My wife and I go skiing in the beautiful Utah mountains and in the summer we go ATV riding in the mountains. We find the most enjoyable places on earth up high and next to God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon family. All of my ancestors were Mormons and settled in Utah over 150 years ago. Star Valley Wyoming, where I grew up, was part of the Mormon colonization under Brigham Young. My parents and all my grandparents were faithful members of the church. I remember hearing about Joseph Smith, the Prophet, when I was still very young and I always knew that he was a true prophet of God. I have never doubted it. Mormonism has taught me a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. I am humbled to consider the magnitude of His love for me and my family. I know he lives and loves me. I attribute this faith to the teachings of the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church in many capacities and am currently a ward mission leader. I enjoy the friendship of my fellow ward members. I am strengthened by the testimony of my ward members and I share my testimony with them each week in our church meetings. This is a great comfort to me. I fully enjoy temple worship. The covenants and promises I make in the temple are special and sacred to me.
