Hi I'm Alec

I grew up in a small town in Nevada. I like to sing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been LDS all my life, and I love my religion. I grew up to also love music, sports, and pretty much anything that is fun. In high school I was involved with band, drama, football and baseball. My biggest passion was choir, and I had many opportunites to sing outside of my school. I love to be around other people and get to know others that I don't know. I went to a year of college, where I was a memeber of multiple vocal groups and clubs. I feel very blessed to be able to take my passions beyond high school and get to know so many different people. I am now I'm serving my lord in the mission feild.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the LDS faith for many reasons. One of the reasons is that I can get closer to my family. The church allows me to make stronger bonds with the ones that I love, this is very important to me. The gospel of Jesus Christ has allowed me to come closer to my parents, brothers and sisters, and all other family members. It gives me hope for our future together and strength in our tough times. Another reason I choose to be a member of this church is the peace it gives me in a troubled world. It is no secret that life in our world is going to get much harder. The gospel gives the strength that is required to live in such hard times. It helps me to face the future with faith.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others and especially my father in heaven. I have been involved in my church from a very young age. I served as president in my young mens groups twice and also had the opportunity to play the piano for all the men in my ward. One assignment that I enjoyed more than the others was the call to be president of our Seminary. I learned so much here and got to help others every day. When I got to college I was called as a leader over a group of young adults and we organized many activities that were a load of fun. I have had many experiences in the Mormon church that bring me closer to everyone around me and also my father in heaven.
