Hi I'm Logan

I was born and raised in the tiny town of Worland, WY to active parents who encouraged me to serve a full time mission.

About Me

I am the middle child of four kids, born and raised in the church to strong, active member parents. I love to sing and draw and write and read and run and jump and dance and play and camp and hike and drive and ride, i just love to go and do. I am very musical and have been a nationally acclaimed singer all throughout high school, being involved in chamber choir, jazz choir, musical theater, and drama. I love sports, anything that gets me out and about. I love to travel, and want to visit every continent and wonder of the world. I am planning to study psychology in college and get become a psychiatrist, but that is subject to change when i return from my mission. I am very social, and love to try new things and meet new people, just get out of my comfort zone. My most important goals in my life, the purposes with which I find the most meaning, are to become a worthy husband and father, and preside over my household with the power of the priesthood. No other callings or duties I could have in my life would trump that simple yet infallibly vital vocation. I try to emulate my older brother, who is currently serving his mission, in all that I do, as he is the most Christ-like man I know.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed in the very same grove that Joseph Smith Junior visited, and the truth of this gospel was testified unto me in a fashion that I could not in good conscience deny, even if doing so meant my very life. I am Mormon because this gospel is true, and I have, do, and always will seek after truth.

How I live my faith

I am preparing/serving a full time mission for two years. This is the best decision I have ever made in my life short of baptism itself, and I will give one hundred percent every single day in the service of my God, in the name of my savior. Through my lessons and example, i hope to bring others the fullness of the gospel, and bring them the eternal happiness that only this gospel can provide.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can find out if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true in the same way you can receive a witness of any truth in this life; offering a sincere prayer to God. There is no earthly evidence or scientific review that can give you a more certain knowledge of the gospel than simply asking your God, and receiving an answer through the Holy Spirit. We don't ask anyone to take our word as members that the church is true. We encourage you to take it to the source and pray for a knowledge of the truth. Show more Show less

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a set of guidelines established through revelation that aids us in maintaining a healthy, addiction free life style. We are encouraged to avoid partaking in tobacco, alcohol, coffee and tea, and illegal drugs. While these guidelines may seem like restrictions, they are in fact a caution that will help us to avoid losing our freedoms to addictions and health issues. Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Absolutely not. Any worthy, faithful man desirous of the priesthood can bless his family with that power just as long as he maintains his worthiness. And anyone desiring to come closer to Christ is welcomed as a member of the church, according to their willingness to live worthily to receive the blessings of baptism. Show more Show less
