Hi I'm Niki

I am a traveling Nurse. I love culture, music, poetry, sports and most of all people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE to try new things. I have a passion for traveling. I think that traveling has helped me learn to love all people and appreciate culture. I am an ICU Nurse. I enjoy running 1/2 marathons ( for the breakfast afterwards; ), writing poetry, decorating, playing sports, and planning my next vacation. I have an amazing family with the best part being my nieces and nephews who I adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and ever since I was really young I was blessed to know that the Church was true. I felt light inside of me. I felt hope and peace. I still feel that same feeling as a little child, as an adult. I am Mormon because this Church has helped me to be a better person. I am Mormon because I believe in it's teachings. I am Mormon because every time I bear witness of it's teachings I am filled with the Spirit.

How I live my faith

I have learned for me that the essence of faith is what faith brings. I am happier by living by faith. I have learned to trust in God by trial and error. I have found I feel like I am living my faith when I treat others like they are the most important person I can be talking to at that moment. I feel softened by my faith to reach out to those around me, to help those who I might not be inclined to help. I have learned that faith is hard work. It requires diligence in things that can't be seen. Faith requires prayer and studying the scriptures. Faith requires daily action. Faith has helped me to be an optimist.
