Hi I'm Charlie

I am a Wife and a Mother, a qualified Beauty Therapist with a passion for healthy living. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Oxfordshire and qualified as a Beauty Therapist when I left secondary school. From a very young age I dreamt of becoming a Mother and my choice to train as a Beauty Therapist gave me the skills I would need to one day work from home if I needed too. I have always loved being creative and using my hands to make beautiful things. I love to run. I love to do Zumba. I love to cook and create healthy recipes for my family to enjoy. I would love to study diet and nutrition in greater detail one day. I love spending time with my Husband and Sons, and being a stay at home Mum makes me feel fulfilled and complete.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and as I have grown up, the belief that I have that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real has just gotten stronger. I am so grateful to know that I am a Daughter of God. I am grateful to be able to read about Jesus Christ in the Bible and know his character and teachings, so that I am able to become more like him and live a better life. I love knowing that I can pray and receive strength in times of need and never feel alone. All of the natural worries and concerns that I have in life are answered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I make mistakes, I know I can repent. When I am finding parenting a struggle, I can find patience and strength, when I feel grey, my burdens can be lifted. Knowing that my family can be together forever gives me the greatest peace and happiness in my life. I live a truly happy life because of my faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to make the gospel of Jesus Christ the centre of my life. By looking for opportunities to give service and to be mindful of making others lives a bit easier. By teaching my Children to be kind, to live good lives and to know that it's ok to make mistakes along the way. By being happy and grateful for all of the wonderful things I enjoy in my life, and never forgetting the things that matter most.
