Hi I'm Cameron Young

I grew up in Utah. I have a love for the water, I'm a swimmer and water polo player.

About Me

I'm a swimmer and water polo player of which I have done for 8 years. I plan on going into the military after I go on a mission, I want to join the Navy and become a US Navy SEAL. I love doing serves for others, my favorite scripture is John 15:13 "greater love hath no man than this, than to lay down his life for his friends. I play percussion and I sing (tenor II-baritone I). I am serving a mission in Des Moines, Iowa and loving it. my whole life I've always had a crazy amount of energy and still do, I love the outdoors and Mountains, rivers, lakes, etc. when I get a chance to, I go mountain biking, rock climbing, rappelling, really anything that is super fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I've heard people say before that service brings them happiness, and it's very true and I love how much service our church does for the elderly, the sick, the injured, the poor. giving service to others make you feel better because your putting yourself out of the way, and using your strengths and abilities to help others up off the ground. if everyone did as Christ did, helping others off the ground onto there feet, the world would be so much better. I'm a Mormon because Christ is the greatest example of service and we teach everyone to become like Christ. I learned in my mission something cool; obed means servant, which is part of obedience. being obedient your being a servant. in the church, I was taught at a young age to serve and it continued thought out, teaching people to serve there neighbor's is great, if everyone would serve each other there wouldn't be any homeless, hungry, sick, lonely, suicide, the world would become as god would want it. I'm a servant, I'm a missionary, I'm a mormon

How I live my faith

my whole life I've grown up doing service for others, now, I am serving a mission in Des Moines, Iowa. I will go above and beyond what people ask me to do every time to help them out in anyway possible. when you serve others you are becoming like Christ, helping others. I know this church is true because they teach us to act like Christ, become like Christ, though him, and the atonement we can live with our family's again and forever, all it takes is faith, hope, charity, love, and enduring to the end
