Hi I'm Emma

I am a stay at home mother of 6 children. I love to bake, go on walks and be with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to six young children and a subsititute teacher. I am married to a farmer and love living in the country where there is lots of room to roam. I love children and being with them. I love to bake and make delicious things! I love to go on walks and visit with friends. I love to write. I have written many stories for my children. I like to go to the schools and share my stories with the children there. I write poetry and love to blog.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon. Even though I had the teachings of the church taught to me throughout my life I still had to come to know whether it was true or not. That took, study, prayer, faith and time. As I studied and learned I would pray. I could see the blessings of the gospel in my life. I could see the good that came from me following the teachings of the gospel. I could feel the Spirit of the Lord whisper to my heart that it was true. The more I followed the teachings, the more I knew it was true. No matter what I face in life, I know I have the gospel to fall back on. It teaches me about the Savior and brings me closer to Him. It teaches me of His love for me and of opportunity He has given me to return to live with my Father in Heaven. He suffered and died for me. I find strength, guidance, knowledge, love and peace through being a member of His church. I can't imagine what my life would be like or where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ. I go to church weekly. There I teach the youth Sunday School class about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I served a mission when I was 21. I loved telling people about Jesus. I still try to share the gospel through my example. I read my scriptures and say my prayers. I talk with my friends about faith and what it means to me to be a Christian. I try to make my home a place where we can feel peace and love and where we can be safe from the temptations of the world. I try to serve those around me - whether by volunteering in the school or taking treats to the neighbors. I do my best to allow others to know Christ because they know me.
