Hi I'm Malinda

I grew up in Utah. I love to sing and perform. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a teenager growing up in a small town in Utah. High School has been the most eye opening experience for me so far. Tons of fun, but also loaded with hundreds of trials, twists and turns. My time is constantly consumed by the performing arts such as: choir, theater, orchestra, jazz band, and bell choir. Music has been the joy of my existence since I was a little girl and I am thankful for my parents influence. I love to read any book I can get my hands on, especially Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens etc. Writing is my favorite pass time, and I am currently writing a one act play, and a novel. I love to ice skate at the local rink and frequently teach, and share my knowledge with children and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I have received my own personal witness of its truthfulness. I admire the strength of the pioneers who crossed the plains of america to escape persecution. I know that Jesus died upon the cross to atone for the sins of the world, and was resurrected and received a perfect body. I know that through this perfect atonement we can repent of our sins and come to live with our family's eternally. There have been rough times in my life that have hardened me into the person I am today. I know that as life flows along I will be watched over and protected by the watchful eyes of our heavenly father. He loves us all ardently and waits for our return from this life.

How I live my faith

I count myself fortunate to have been born to a mormon family. I often wonder how different my life would be without the church's influence. I have briefly explored other faiths and religions and have found how much I truly believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love connecting with other young women like myself and discussing standards and studying the scriptures. I attend seminary during school days and it is truly the best part of my day that I look forward to. At church I love directing younger girls toward the truthfulness and light of the gospel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Malinda
The family is the center of our church. Everything we do is centered around family, and how we can be with each other in heaven, for eternity. Show more Show less
