Hi I'm Kiera

I spend my days being a full time mother of two beautiful boys and a wife to my loving husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mum of two energetic boys, they are my world! Our daily activities include bug hunting and digging mud, play doh, tons of paint, and lots of park trips! My hobbies/interests are drawing, knitting, organizing :), anything crafty...., eating chocolate!, going for long walks. I have a degree in interior design. Homes are a passion of mine! I dream one day I will own my own home.... I love my husband we have been married now for 6 years in July. I'm happy I have him for eternity :). We enjoy watching films and going on dates. our favorite foods our Indian curry's :) and pancakes/waffles (not together of course) I am very close to my husband's family and love them all dearly! I have been a member of the church since 1998, I was converted by two missionaries.

Why I am a Mormon

I love everything the church teaches. I love the sense of belonging, the knowledge we have through the scriptures, & the modern day prophet. As soon as I felt the spirit I could not deny it. I knew this is where I was suppose to be. I gained a strong testimony in my teens. I often felt unwanted & unloved, My dad who was not a member suffered from frontal lobe syndrome & depression & would often find ways to take his life. I remember talking with a older sister about how lonely I was feeling. I remember the words she said so clearly & I will never forget. You Kiera are a daughter of God! those few words meant so much to me. I was a daughter Of God. I have a father in heaven who loves me. Although I had an earthly father, I never felt truly happy, until those special words were said. My father committed suicide in 2009 while pregnant with my first child. I miss him, but I know he is in good hands. He was baptized last year in the temple & I'm looking forward to sealing him to his parents for eternity. I have a testimony- Of the Holy Ghost he is there to guide comfort & protect us. Of the Book of Mormon & our prophet President Monson. Of priesthood holder's, they hold the keys, bless & heal us! That church is where we are suppose to be every Sunday to strengthen our testimony to learn, grow,& help each other. Heavenly father & Jesus Christ are two separate beings. Forgiveness, I'm thankful for what Jesus Christ did for us,to bleed from every pour, to die on the cross. Amen

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith, is by going to church each Sunday. Doing the best in my callings. And being a good example to my children, husband, family and friends. Being a mother is the most important job in the world to nurture, love, protect your children in every way possible. The gospel is a great help for that.
