Hi I'm Jedediah Robert Fuller

I live in Nebraska. I was born in South Dakota. I have moved around a lot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently on a Mission in the California Carlsbad mission. Life is okay. My companion and I our doing are best. It may not be easy, but I love it. When I leave after two years, it will be difficult to adjust to a non-missionary life.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church at eight years old. I lived with the influence of the Holy Ghost that has testifyed to me of the truth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since confirmation. I know that this is true.

How I live my faith

Part of me living my faith involves going on a mission. Another thing I have done is comitt to living my faith for life. There is no backing down or doing a half job.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Jedediah Robert Fuller
The tithing that people pay to the church goes to the construction of and upkeep of church buildings and Temples. It also helps pay for some missionaries who can't pay their own way. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Jedediah Robert Fuller
We belive that there are saving ordinances for us to be brought into the presence of God. However, there are people who have died, not knowing or having these ordinances performed in life. So, baptisms for the dead in temples allow for the salvation of those who haved died. It is not for church membership. This is life and death here (no pun intended). Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Jedediah Robert Fuller
The authority to baptize is important because it is the way God says you can do it. To compare, if I was speeding and I was pulled over by the ice cream man, he would have no authority to enforce the law and I would not have to heed what he said. However, if I was pulled over by the highway patrol, I would have to do everything he/she says. It is the same with the authority to baptize (or priesthood authority). If the person has authority, then it is okay and allowed. If there is no authority, then what was performed is null. Show more Show less
