Hi I'm Charles

I'm an average guy. I'm married, I work full time and go to school at night. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am school to become an HVAC and refrigeration service technician. I will be finishing school this week however and I am really excited about moving on in my career. Things I love to do include water skiing, watching movies, playing board and card games, spending time with my family, and in general just staying busy with something.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church and I love it. I am so grateful that becoming and continuing to be a member of the church was a choice that I could make on my own. I know that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith was prophet and that through him our Heavenly Father restored the Church of Jesus Christ back to this earth in it's fullness with prophets, apostles and his priesthood authority. I know all of this because I have read the Book of Mormon so that I could learn for myself of it's truthfulness and most importantly I have prayed to my Heavenly Father, asking for His guidance and answers as to the veracity of the Book of Mormon. Through the whisperings of the holy spirit, I have come to know that the Book of Mormon is true and is the word of God that has been given to us by God's hand through His prophet Joseph Smith. These things mean the world to me because they give me a sure knowledge of our Heavenly Fathers plan for each of us and his great love that he has for us. The love so great that He gave us His only begotten son Jesus Christ, to come to this earth, atone for our sins and give us the most wonderful opportunity to repent and overcome our sins and return to our loving Heavenly Father after this life, to live with Him forever. Life would be bleak and pointless without this sure knowledge.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of this church. I have had the opportunity to work with the young men as their scout leader for a time but my favorite thing that I have been chosen to do in my ward or congregation is to teach the primary, children under the age of 12, the gospel of Jesus Christ in Sunday school. I love being able to watch the children grow in the gospel as I teach them the principles of Jesus teachings.
