Hi I'm Myriam

I am a Teaching Assistant. I grew up in England . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in a school with kids. I love reading anything as well as the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I love learning new things. I am VIP ambassador for Vinspired which is a youth volunteering charity. I am part- time student studying for my Postgraduate Certificate in Asperger Syndrome from Sheffield Hallam University.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Church as it helps me to follow Jesus and be a better person. I love the Gospel because it keeps me going when you feel down and keeps my life on the right track. Whatever I do, wherever I know I can talk to God and he will help in my daily life; that's is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and help a fellow member to enjoy church worship to the max. I love singing in our choir. I really like the Young Single Adults Activities as there is something for everyone and it helps me keep Jesus apart of my life.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Myriam
The First Principles of the Gospel are:- 1. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, 2. Repentance which means owning up and be sorry for the mistakes (Sins) you've made in your life. This is an ongoing process. 3. Baptism by full immersion in water, 4. Laying on of hands to receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. 5. Enduring to the End which means sticking to the Gospel Principles. Faith leads the person to do Good Works like helping friends, family and strangers which leads the person to be saved by the Grace of God as your Works Alone can't save you but they help along the way. Jesus likes Good People. In this church it is not a choice between Faith, Works and Grace as you need all three to be saved! Show more Show less
