Hi I'm Sue

I have lived in England all my life, I have a wonderful family and I am a Massage Therapist. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 3 - my family is my life! I love being with my family - extended and close - going on holidays, for walks, cycling, playing games, and generally chatting and chilling. I also enjoy spending time with friends - (especially when we go to a spa!), running & cycling (triathlons are my new thing), working in my garden, reading when I get a chance, going out with the Missionaries and yoga. I love learning and returned to college a few of years ago and qualified as a Massage Therapist and now run my own business from home and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I could not think about life without my family, and the Plan of Salvation that explains what happens after this life, and how we can continue our family relationships beyond the grave gives me the greatest hope and comfort I could wish for. I have been a Mormon all my life, and I do not need to sample any other life to know that this is the life for me. All the doctrines and principles that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I know to be true because I have tested and found for myself through prayer and practice that they are true. In a world of such turmoil and change, I find the gospel of Jesus Christ to be my anchor and my safe harbour. As I have watch my children grow, and leave our home - the girls to be married and Luke to serve a mission , I can see how the gospel has blessed their lives too, kept them safe and allowed them to enjoy an abundant and immensely joyful life without participating in dangerous distractions around them. I am so grateful for a living prophet, Thomas Monson who listens to God and is able to give us the advise and council we need to hear to apply the gospel to our lives today, the scriptures provide the answers we need, and more than that, they provide a protection and power that is not tangible but so real. I have seen in my own life and the lives of others how living the gospel brings so many wonderful blessings it would be impossible to count them all. I know God lives and loves each of us so much and wants us to bless us now and help us be with Him and our families forever.

How I live my faith

I am married to the Bishop of our ward and so support him as much as I can in his responsibilities. I am also the Young Women's president and love working with the girls. It is such a privilege to be part of their lives and learning process, and I am sure I learn as much or more than the girls I watch over in serving in this calling! I also enjoy going out with the missionaries and visiting some of the women in the church and being a friend and a support to them where I can. I find as I try and help people, I am always blessed myself so abundantly. My husband and I enjoy having the missionaries over to dinner with new members or investigators to get to know them in a home environment - they inspire us so much.
