Hi I'm Tenley

I live in Tigard, Oregon. I'm going on a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in the church with my family and I still continue to be strong, where other family members may not be. I love to play sports, like soccer and basketball. My favorite outdoor activity is frisbee. I find it very fun and entertaining. I also have been teaching my self how to play the piano. I love to draw, and I consider that my greatest talent. I am not in college right now because I have decided to serve a mission. I know that going on a mission is going to be a wonderful experience and it is going to bring me closer to Christ. Not only me, but others too. I can't wait to bring the people of Tokyo, Japan unto Jesus Christ and His infinite Atonement, and to be baptized. I love this gospel with all my heart and I can't wait to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the gospel. And I am so grateful for that. Being able to know, at a very young age, why I'm here, where I'm going after this life, is truly a wonderful blessing. I continue to follow His gospel because I know it's true. It's as simple as that. I have had my trials and I'm definitely not perfect. But that is why Jesus Christ atoned for my sins. So that I can repent and be changed. I have seen Heavenly Father's hand so many times in my life and that just gives me a stronger testimony each day. I know this gospel is true and that Jesus is the Christ. He atoned for the sins of the world. I have a testimony of Joseph Smith. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon. I understand how wonderful and how important the Book of Mormon is, not only in my life, but how important it is in the church. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today. I am so grateful for the knowledge I bear from the things I have been taught. I can't wait to share my testimony to the people of Tokyo, Japan, because it means so much to me. I know that I can change lives with my testimony and bring them closer to Christ and His atonement. Through this experience, I know that I will also become closer to Christ and His atonement, and realize even more, that this wonderful gospel is true.

How I live my faith

At this time I am serving the church by teaching 10-13 little four year olds. They bring light into my life and I really do love them.
