Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a Mormon, a healthcare worker, and a prospective PhD student

About Me

I'm a single girl living and working in the UK. Alongside my job, I'm a focused and diligent student of the world and of the gospel. I love teaching, quilting, doing crafts, going on walks, baking, cooking, yoga, being out with my friends or just having a quiet night in. I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in Medical Humanities and I'm currently in the process of applying for funding for a PhD. I believe strongly in the power of education and I'm very grateful for the opportunities my education has brought me.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel blesses my life in many, many ways. More than anything, it guides me in my convictions and educates my spirit whilst helping me to discern the truth around me. Many people believe that having a faith somehow makes you less accepting and less reasonable when the exact opposite is true. Mormonism is a gospel of love and a gospel that encourages independent study. Its teachings are so incredibly logical! It's a wonderful way to live! I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I'm so grateful for the atoning sacrifice my Saviour made for me. I know that me Redeemer lives. That knowledge carries me through the good times and the bad times. I love my Saviour and I know that he loves me despite my imperfections and the mistakes I make on a daily basis. The gospel has enriched my life with countless opportunities and blessings and that is why I'm grateful for the chance to stand up and be counted as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I teach the 16-18 year olds in my ward. Being with these youth every week not only keeps me young but it also keeps me on my toes! I get the opportunity to teach the best and the brightest every week and it strengthens my testimony.
