Hi I'm Anita Freeman

I'm a Mormon, I was baptised in 1955

About Me

I am at present enjoying my retirement. I have been married to my husband for 49 years, and am the mother of three children. Hobbies are travel and keeping fit. Interests are my 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

Why I am a Mormon

I was 15 years old when I joined the church and had always been a regular attender in my previous church. I had never heard of the Mormons before being taught by the missionaries. The questions I could not get answers to suddenly became clear, things were no longer a mystery. With each discussion I became more aware that what I was being taught was actually true. I was baptised in Liverpool and have never regretted it. It has been a guideline I have followed while bringing up my family. There has been a deep contentment knowing that I was making the right choices, and that I could pray about what decisions to make. My membership in the church is so important to me, to know that Jesus Christ is the head and that He has given us a living Prophet to lead and guide us. I look forward to the eternities where I will have the opportunity to spend it with my lovely family.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church for many years and in that time I have held many callings e.g. teaching primary age children, teaching youth, teaching Sunday School. President of the Women's organisation, music director. Responsible for activities such as dances, picnics, county walks, parties etc. I am at present working in nursery where I have the privilege of being with the very young children from 18 month old to 3 years and they are a joy. I am also a Visiting Teacher where along with my companion we visit sisters who are assigned to us each month and take a special gospel message. We love and care for each sister
