Hi I'm Mike Rigby

I was born in St. Annes, Nottingham, England. In 1968 I was introduced

About Me

I have been married to my wife Carol for the past 39 years and we have six children and sixteen grandchildren. During this time I have been self employed providing support to individuals who are involved in career change. Either voluntary or compulsory. This has provided me with many opportunities to work with lots of different people from different backgrounds. Love being able to help and see the positive changes that have come out of the work I have done. People count.

Why I am a Mormon

My family are very special to me along with my membership of the church. Being a member of the church gives me hope and direction for the future. I know that I can be together with my family forever and that there is life beyond this life. Knowing that I can have a personal relationship with my Saviour and that he does hear my prayers is a great strength to me.

How I live my faith

As voluntary worker within the church I have been blessed to be able to serve along with my wife organising national youth conferences. These are referred to as EFY. Especially for Youth or SMYC. Special MultiStake Conference. These are residential weeks to which over 700 youth will attend. During this time they are encourage to participate in faith promoting and team building activities whilst also sharing their faith with others. Service projects are also organised. Love to be a part of such a program and to see the changes for good in those participating. I am a practicing Mormon and live my faith daily. Seek to be a positive influence on those around me and ready to share the messages of faith and hope that come through a believe in Jesus Christ.
