Hi I'm Ashley Call

I hit the streets everyday. I enjoy good music, movies, and laughter. I am a missionary and I am a mormon

About Me

I grew up in good old Utah. Everything about Utah inspires me to be better. The beauty and the good people. I'm 20 years old and currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Spokane, Washington Mission. I attended UVU for a year and studied Psychology, I love learning about why people do the things they do. Different cultures interest me and I hope to do some traveling in my life. I grew up in a home where art was valued and my love for it grows every single day. I love any form of expression and appreciate that we live in such a beautiful world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have felt in my heart through the Holy Ghost that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, and that my Savior, Jesus Christ does love me. I cannot deny I have felt this, so I live my life by following Christ and doing what He would want me to do. Not only do I know it is the truest doctorine on the Earth today, but when I follow Christ and His commandments I feel happy, and I feel peace. This peace is eternal and unlimited, and as long as I am doing my part, the peace is everlasting. I don't know a lot, but I know that Christ's church is on the church again!

How I live my faith

I try to make every aspect of my life revolved around Christ, I turn to Him every single day. Through the enabling power of Christ's sacrifice I gain strength. Challenges and hardships come and will continue to come but, Christ is able to strengthen me so that my burden is lightened and I am not carrying the load all by myself. I listen and heed the counsel of modern day prophets who receive revelation from Heavenly Father as to how to direct the world in living in correspondence with God's plan. I have hope through Jesus Christ and His Gospel that I will some day live with Heavenly Father again. He has given me everything, and shown me unlimited amounts of love. I show I love Him by trying to become like Him by following in Christ's footsteps. This life is to prepare to meet God, "we aren't earning Heaven, we are learning Heaven" (Brother Brad Wilcox) I've left the life I used to live to serve a mission and the more I learn of the beautiful plan Heavenly Father has for me, I will continue to leave the things I do behind to live more how He would have me live.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Ashley Call
God is all powerful and all knowing. He is literally the Father of our souls and only wants the best for us, because of this He knows each one of us so personally and knows the best route we should take in our lives in order for us to grow spiritually, be the happiest we can be, and live with Him again, eternally.
