Hi I'm Kayla

I grew up in Las Vegas. I play rugby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently enrolled as a college student. I play on the rugby team for that college and love every minute of competition I can get. I've played in the 2012 tournament for the national championship title with that rugby team, and made it all the way to the final four. I also grew up in Las Vegas, NV playing soccer for most of my life! I love music and was also in my middle school and high school band playing the trumpet.

Why I am a Mormon

This is the fully restored gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to live with our Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ again, we must have what only this gospel can offer. Through this gospel, families can be together forever. There is life after death, and this gospel is what ensures we can stay with our family throughout the eternities.

How I live my faith

This gospel is not just going to church on sundays to say you go to church. This gospel is a way of life that can bring a parent who just lost a child, comfort; or a person with an addiction, support and relief. This is not just done by learning doctrine, but through the service of members to each other as they gain the knowledge that we are all brothers and sisters on this earth. One way I have been asked to serve in the church is by being a teacher in one of the classes taught during church. This has not only helped me learn doctrines I might not have understood before, but has helped others learn them as well.
