Hi I'm Cameron

I love to wakeboard and snowboard. I graduated from high school in the Middle East. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old, and currently pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at Brigham Young University. I will take a two year break from my education to serve as a missionary for the church in the Adriatic South Mission. I went to high school on the Arabian Peninsula and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I met all sorts of people and I learned a lot about others, myself, and life. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, so many friends of mine have often asked me if I would be a Mormon if I hadn't been raised this way. Of course my parents guided me and showed me how I could come to believe for myself, but I read the Book of Mormon, and I realized that it had to be true. I was reminded when I prayed to know of its truthfulness of all the past physical and spiritual evidences that I had experienced in my life. It is regularly confirmed to me when I do what I know my Heavenly Father wants, because I feel his peaceful spirit when I am doing my best to do what is right.

How I live my faith

I love my faith, and try to live it to the best of my ability. I love my family above all else, and I love being with them and feeling the happiness that comes from spending time with loving parents and siblings. I enjoy meeting others, and providing service to those I know well as well as to those that I hardly know at all. I've learned over the years that the best way to show what I am all about and what my faith means to me is by being thoughtful, courteous, kind, grateful, and serviceable to everyone I possibly can.
