Hi I'm Jordan Williams

I grew up in Wellington New Zealand. I love the Gospel, sports and my friends and family. Serving in England London South Mission

About Me

My name is Jordan and I was born into the gospel. My parents are both converts to the gospel and my father was baptized a year after I was born. I have lived in New Zealand all my life, mostly in Wellington. I have been called to serve a full time mission in the England London South mission and it has been such an amazing experience so far! I have been able to serve in Maidstone, Uckfield/Haywards Heath, Clapham and now I'm on an island of the coast of France called GUernsey. I love playing sports especially basketball and touch rugby but anything really. I love to just have fun and laugh all the time sometimes even when it's not appropriate haha.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true and there is no greater joy I receive then when I feel of his spirit through the Holy Ghost. So many times in life I have been able to see that a loving God was there guiding me. I cannot explain those situations and nor can any body for me. I've seen the difference it has made in my life as I have lived it from when I haven't. The Book of Mormon is a true record of scripture and was translated by a young man named Joseph Smith. He was given authority and power from God to do so. He didn't make it up. He saw God and Jesus Christ and they told him what he was to do and I know that he did it, that is, restore the church of God to the earth. I came to this knowledge bit by bit and the more I experimented the more I came to know about this. It hasn't been easy and I haven't always been the best example but it is through trials that my faith has been strengthened. I beileve God and his Son live as I have felt the Spirit bear witness of it to me. Many times I have been brought to my knees as I have had struggles and questions and each time He answers, differently and in ways I did not expect but they always come.

How I live my faith

I have had several callings in my church including Ward missionary, Young Single Adults male rep and a Young Men's Councillor. These callings helped me to learn more about the gospel as I taught and allowed me to share my knowledge with others frequently throughout the week. Right now I am serving in the England London South Mission and sharing with people what I know to be true. I love meeting new people and helping people increase their faith. Since being out I have seen many miracles and tender mercies of the Lord. I am striving to be more Christlike in keeping the commandments and being worthy of the Spirit at all times so that I can help others and give them the best chance at receiving this gospel too. Being an example is really important because as I have seen others show me how I need to live I have been able to follow that and do the same for others
