Hi I'm Steve

I grew up in the Bay area and enjoyed a lot of freedom. I had a few close friends in the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Through high school I excelled at math. After graduating and receiving degrees, all of my jobs employed math as the basis. I have had two main occupations in my life. The first was retail management and the other was teaching. I enjoy travel, especially cruising. I love the idea that a ship can take you away to places anywhere in the world. It amazes me that you can awake in the morning somewhere other than where you went to sleep. I have eight, soon to be nine grandchildren who are the joy of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the gospel. It can lead us all to Christ. It brings me closer to my Heavenly Father as I work daily to be like him. It is through service to others that we can truly approach him. The church provides many experiences where we can serve others. Community projects, visiting the members monthly, and assisting the elderly all bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. Through these service projects we can come to know him more fully.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church all of my life. My parents taught me to follow the prophet and I wouldn't go wrong. I have tried to do this serving a mission for the Church and raising a family to the Lord. Many times during my life I have felt the spirit of the Lord telling me what I need to do and reinforcing me in decisions. I enjoy my association with members of the church as well as with others that are not of my faith. My testimony grows daily.
