Hi I'm Travis Morgan

I'm from a small town in Idaho, grew up in the LDS church, and I love it.

About Me

I did lots of sports in high school, but I never really excelled at them. I mostly just liked to play around and have fun. I go to college at BYU in Provo, UT and I'm studying mechanical engineering. I love to ski, and I want to design skis one day. I have two brothers, a sister-in-law, and the cutest little niece in the world. I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan; I watch the movies a lot and I'm currently reading the books. I ran a marathon once and placed first in my age group (mostly because I was the only one in it). I really enjoy watching college football, and I'm a huge fan of the Boise State Broncos. Rugby is my favorite sport to watch, but due to a major skiing accident, I can't play it anymore. Ireland is my favorite rugby team.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the LDS church and everything about it. I love how it's centered around families and Christ's atonement. I am a member of the LDS church because it gives me a purpose and something to look forward to in life. This church gives me hope that I will always be able to be with my family, and that through Christ, I may be perfected and forgiven. I love being able to feel the spirit and to be able to partake of the sacrament every Sunday in church. I know that I am a child of God and that he knows me personally.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on my way to Mexico City. I have sacrificed two years of my life to serve the Lord. I diligently work every day to come closer to him so that I can share this Gospel with the world.
