Hi I'm Brittny Clark

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Disciple of Christ. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon!

About Me

For the last year I have been serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Fort Collins Colorado mission. I have grown in so many ways and have come to love to teach and serve. As I have taught others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have come to love and see them as our Heavenly Father does. It is incredible to behold the love, faith and desire these people have to change so they can come closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a feeling of incomprehensible joy! I grew up in Utah and was raised in the Church. What a blessing this has been for me. Although I had this blessing, I needed to know for myself if this Church was indeed true. My parents taught me the power of prayer and that my Heavenly Father does listen and answer every prayer. I love being a missionary! The experiences I have learned thus far are things I will never forget. They are things that will continue to help me learn, grow, to perfect, and to become as my Heavenly Father and Savior see me. I am His Daughter and He loves me! I know that with all of my heart and will never deny those feelings. I have felt within my heart the truthfulness of this Gospel because I desired to know, then was willing to act upon the answer I received. I love sports, especially basketball. I love hard work. I love attending the temple. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am a Mormon. I live it, love it, and know it to be true!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with being able to be brought up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At a young age I was taught by my parents of the doctrines and principles in contains. Because of many many experiences I have had in my life, and have felt of the Holy Ghost bear its witness to me of the truthfulness of the restored gospel that comes only through His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I cannot deny those feelings of which I have received. I have had prayers answered and have seen many miracles come to pass in my life that have both blessed and strengthened me in ways I could never have experienced anywhere else. The things that are taught make me happy, they make me feel complete. I know my purpose in life and am always learning more about who I am, where I have come from and where I will go after this life. Why am I a Mormon? The answer is simple, I know the things of which are taught are true. I live them and I love them with all of my heart. Those truths, principles, and doctrines have made me into who I am today.

How I live my faith

Ways I live my faith are through doing the small and simple things that are taught in the principles and doctrines of the Church. Many of these things include saying my prayers, reading from my scriptures, going to church, attending the temple, serving in my community and many others. This gospel never forces one to live the things that are contained within it. Rather it allows me to know that of what is taught and contained with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, has come from my Heavenly Father and that as I chose to obey and live His standards, He will bless me in ways no one else can. We all have our agency, the gift to choose, what we would like to do in every aspect of our lives. Because of experiences in my life I have come to know that this Church is true, and because of that I want to live my faith by doing those things that my Savior has taught. The Gospel's invitation is to come unto Christ. I have accepted that invitation and want to show my Savior my love and devotion to Him by living what I believe. I know that it is through Him I truly can do all things. He strengthens me and helps me to reach my full potential.
