Hi I'm Lo

I love to write. I like to explore new areas. I am a Daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up dancing in ballet and jazz and still take classes whenever I can. I am going to a university trying to find my place in the world. I work at a local party store and adore the people that come in. I am addicted to Instagram and am constantly editing photos. I am out in the sun whenever it is shining and I love getting to know Mother Nature everyday I'm out exploring the earth. I love God and He comes second to nothing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God has held my hand through my toughest trials. Whenever I quit living this gospel, everything seems to be darker and more difficult. When I don't do my best to keep the Lord's commandments, I lose sight of what's important and I forget about my Father in Heaven and I forget what Jesus Christ did for me. On the flip side, when I am living and breathing this gospel, I am so much happier and I feel lighter. I feel loved, comforted, and peaceful. I feel like my spirit is in tune with nature, as cheesy as that sounds, I feel blessed and lucky. I know there is a God watching over me, along with guardian angels that want me to succeed. I know if we could see all the help from the other side we would do better. I know that God lives in every single one of us, regardless of our beliefs. We are His children and He only wants us to be happy, like Jesus Christ wants us to be happy. We are so loved by Them. Our trials are only given to us for our growth and for a greater understanding. Our trials are temporary. And even though God is sometimes silent, it doesn't mean He doesn't care, it only means He cares that much more for us. If we were coddled through life we wouldn't learn anything. He is there and He loves us. I will never deny that and I can tell you it's true all the days I'm alive.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and try to learn what I can in the three hours I'm there. I try to attend our LDS temples at least once a month, or more if I can. I am a little shy, but I still try to make friends at church--it makes things more fun! I never go a day without a prayer, and I try to read the scriptures everyday. I'm hoping it will become a habit.
