Hi I'm Steven Jones

When I was six my dad got a job in a place I like to call home. Now I'm leaving to become a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Through high school I had a love of football. It was a year round sport for me with constant workouts in the winter to get me better prepared for football the next fall. I also loved my seminary classes. I enjoyed learning the truths of the gospel and making myself better with the tools and principles that I received there. My senior year the unthinkable happened to me. I tore my ACL in football. Not in some cool game saving or winning way but in a conditioning drill in practice. The months that followed were tough. Why me? I was still able to attend my seminary classes and the spirit that I felt there was a major help with the trials I was facing. I was blessed enough that I was able to make a full recovery. I am now leaving to serve as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because of the peace that it brings into my life. This gospel teaches that through the plan of happiness families can be together forever. It teaches that after death we can be united with our loved ones. I know that these things are true. I know that because of Jesus's Death, Resurrection, and Atonement we can each live again and be forgiven of our sins.

How I live my faith

I was just released for a calling where I taught a group of three and four year old kids the basic principles of the gospel. It was amazing to me how much knowledge their you minds could retain. Now I have been called to serve as a Missionary in the Mexico, Veracruz mission. I will dedicate the next two years of my life to serving, teaching, and ultimately trying to bring these people unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
