Hi I'm Dan

I'm a tall Canadian kid, excited to serve the Lord in the Hamilton, New Zealand mission, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Youngest of 4 kids with a twin brother currently serving in Leeds, England. I'm a huge music and movie guy and I like to approach life with a laid back, relaxed attitude. I like to have a good time and share and laugh, but I also know when it's time to put my head down and work hard. I believe family comes first no matter what.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon is kind of a hard question to answer, yet at the same time seems so easy. I've been a member my entire life, and I've seen the blessings it brings not only me personally, but my family as well. I've seen too many things go right in my life to ever be able to confidently deny the truthfulness of this Gospel. Transversely, when things go wrong and I don't how to proceed, the comfort and revelation I receive from leaders, personal prayer or scripture study, or serving others are all testaments to me personally of the divinity of the Church. You may hear people say a lot that all the answers to any question you may ever have can be found in the scriptures. And I can testify of the power and eternal truth of that statement. I can also testify of the love the Lord has for each and every single one of us, as if we were the only person that mattered to Him. It's a love we will never be able to understand in this life. I believe and have faith in the transforming power of the Atonement, and the ability it has to make men better than they currency are or ever think they could be. I know this Gospel is true, because the Spirit of the Lord has answered my prayers and testified these things to me.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as the 1st councilor in the Sunday School presidency of my YSA (young single adult) ward. I'm almost never on time for church but I make it a point to go every week. I love the improved perspective it gives me no matter what my week as been like previous.
