Hi I'm Tanner Hinrichsen

I love my family and friends, I'm currently in San Diego livin' the white handbook appropriate good life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outdoors, there is nothing better than being outside doing cool things. I like to hike, boat, camp, fish, ski, swim, pretty much anything that keeps me out. I enjoy spending time with people that I love, my family and friends are all really important to me. I have three sisters and two little brothers and they are all pretty chill. I love music, I could sit and hang out and listen to music for dayzzzzzz, it is a pretty nice thing, indie music is my favorite. I enjoy learning about stuff and doing things I have never done before and going to new places. I really like to cruise around, one day I want to drive across the United States and see what there is to see in all of the different states. Utah is my favorite though, there are so many cool things to do there, and I like mormon people, they are nice.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because at some point, a couple of my ancestors on both sides read the Book of Mormon and felt that it was from God. My parents at some point as well read it, and they had a similar experience. They decided that this was the church and the gospel that they needed to raise their kids in, so I got pumped out and grew up into the church. Growing up I always felt good, I felt like I knew God, and that He knew me and that things were all good. I grew up reading scriptures and praying and going to church every week and I always felt super safe and really comforatable. As I got older I began to recognize the ways that God spoke to me, and started to notice that there was a path for my life that He wanted me to be on. My testimony, and why I choose to be Mormon, is based on the fact that God is our loving Father, and that He has confirmed to me a million times that this is the path that will make me the happiest. This is the religion that will teach me the truth and lets me know who I am, where I came from, why in the world I am here, and where I am gonna go when I die. With understanding comes happiness, that is why you can point out a mormon in a crowd of people, because they understand who they are and why they are here. I am LDS because I enjoy being happy, and this is the religion that makes me happiest.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my obedience to the gospel. I attend church, pray, study my scriptures, serve people, and live the most Christian life that I possibly can. Faith requires action, the more I have done as far as acting on faith the more opportunities I have given God to let me know that He is there. I am currently living my faith by serving a full time mission. I love this gospel so much and getting to share it with others has been the greatest blessing of my life. When you walk in the way that Jesus Christ walked is when you come to know Him the best.
