Hi I'm Isaac

I have lived in 7 states, and currently finished my mission in South Carolina. I am a Latter day Saint. And not a Utah Mormon!

About Me

My favorite hobbies are things like riding dirt bikes, hunting/fishing, snowboarding, cliff jumping, football, golf, paintball, and water skiing. I am a kind of person who is a risk taker and like to live my life on the edge.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Latter day Saint because I received a witness from the Holy Ghost that this is the Lords kingdom. All of my family are members which helps a lot. I feel it would be really hard to have found the religion if I wasn't born into it. I've lived in the church my whole life going to church almost every Sunday. I went to church because I believed it was the right thing to do and believed that everything that was done in the church seemed alright to do but I didn't know for myself if it was the true church. So I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover. When I was finished I prayed with a sincere heart wanting to know if it was true. After I did that I told my mom I had finished. When she asked me if I knew it was true, the warmest and best feeling over came me as I said yes with tear filled eyes. Right then I knew it was true. From then on I have been doing my best to live the gospel. Still knowing that I will fail and make mistakes I continue to rely on the Lord for help to lift me back up through Christ's atonement.

How I live my faith

I recently finished my mission in Columbia South Carolina referred to as SCCM . I now live in St. George Utah and am attending a singles ward. Attending church every Sunday and the activities that go on through the week is what I look forward to. Before I lived in Utah and went on a mission I was in Wyoming. I had a home teaching companion. We would always visit our people for the month. Teaching them a gospel message and making sure they were doing good. I am glad I was a home teacher because it has helped me a lot on how to teach the gospel and to really love the people I teach. My mission has also taught me a lot about the Lords gospel. It has given a foundation that will carry me for the rest of my life as I continue to stay faithful to the Lord. This is the Lords kingdom here upon the earth and anyone who is a part of it is truly blessed and has a great responsibility for sharing it with others.
