Hi I'm Whitney

I'm a student. I'm a Humanities Major. I'm a Kentuckian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Kentucky with one brother in a loving LDS family. I am a Senior studying Humanities, and I recently returned from a study abroad in London, England. I love learning about art, music, and literature because I believe they teach me how to understand and love people more.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been fortunate to live in a family that encouraged me to actively participate in my faith. We went to church every week, and I was encouraged to gain a testimony for myself. I learned at a young age that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that Heavenly Father loves me. Further, I know that God loves each and every person. This is a part of my testimony that has never been shaken. Through many experiences I have learned that God is always listening. As our Father in Heaven He listens to us as a real father would--he wants us to follow Him. And He wants us to be happy. I am a Mormon because of my knowledge that God loves us and wants to comfort and help us through any trials we face.

How I live my faith

Recently, at church I have been serving with the children. I have been teaching children 8-10 years old about Jesus and Heavenly Father. Together we sing hymns, read scriptures, and play games--we uplift and inspire one another to be better.
