Hi I'm Stephanie

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I'm a photographer, and a Child Development major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel, and started traveling at 13 years old. I've been to many countries including England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Greece, Canada, China, and the United States. I worked and lived in China for 4 months teaching English at private and public schools, and have studied photography in New York City. Right now, I am studying Child Development at BYU-Idaho, and I absolutely love it. I still love photography, and anything artistic. I really enjoy playing with kids, and learning about how children learn. Playing the piano is one of my hobbies, and I am slowly learning to play the organ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have had the opportunity to gain a testimony and become converted to this gospel. The gospel brings so much peace and happiness into my life, that I know I couldn't have otherwise. Through the gift of the Holy Ghost, I am able to feel God's love for me, and His witness that I need the influence of the church in my life. I am able to understand my Heavenly Father's will for me as I seek for the spirit, and read the scriptures. I have a personal witness that this church is true, and I know that it brings my life so much happiness.

How I live my faith

Where I'm from, there aren't very many members of the LDS faith, so moving to a church school was at first a little interesting for me, because I had never been around so many people who shared my same values. I love being able to discuss the gospel with any person I meet, and I even get to learn about religion in one of my classes. I live my faith by always staying diligent in keeping my testimony strong. Reading my scriptures and praying for the guidance of the Holy Ghost is very important to me, and I know that it does help me. I love attending my church meetings because of the Spirit that is there, and the things I am able to learn.
