Hi I'm Marinda

I grew up in Utah, I love to read, I love being outside, I love to travel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read books. Which means I am a book worm. I also love to be outside. I grew up in a warm place and played outside all the time. I also love going to other places and seeing different cultures. I have done that and plan on continueing that the rest of my life. Whether its just going 5 hours away from home or going thousands of miles, the world is beautiful where ever you go. Another plus on those kind of adventures! I have worked with Special Needs adults and absolutely love all of them!!! I am serving for 18 months in the Scotland/Ireland Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church because of the effect that it has had in my life. I might have grown up in it, but that doesnt always mean that I knew that it was true. I had to find out for myself if it was true. Though all of our challenges are different they are still hard for each of us personally. That was the same for me. I had to ask Heavenly Father if this was the place that he wanted me to be and to be able to draw closer to Him and to draw closer to His Son, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful that I did ask Him, because I am here now and I know Jesus Christ so much better then if I had not asked Heavenly Father about all of this. I am a Mormon, because I know that all of this is true. I know that this church is the Church of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for that knowledge and peace that it gives me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping out in my Church. I have helped teach the little children, which is an amazing opportunity. I have helped set up activities for Young Single Adults as well. Whether its a small get together or a big dance, I have loved helping out for them. I also worked with a Program for the Special Needs. It was so amazing to see how wonderful these children of God are! They taught me more then I was ever able to teach them. With them in my life I have changed to keep them there and to help those that need that kind of help.
