Hi I'm Tyler Anderson

Korean born, Idaho raised, Spanish speaking, Basketball playing, country music loving Mormon Man.

About Me

As a kid i dreamed that i would fly one day, so naturally, i'm studying commercial Aviation in North Dakota of all places.. I served a full time mission in Torreón, México from 2013-2015 and the experience completely changed my life. I am just a your average 22 year old just trying to make his way in the big scary world that we've got on our hand here.

Why I am a Mormon

I started being a Mormon because I was born into the church. As I grew older I started wondering why I was a member. That continued up until about three months before i was assigned to enter the MTC. I recieved my mission call to the Mexico, Torreon mission, in November of 2012. My date of departure was May 15, 2013. In those six months, I began to doubt my choice and my membership in this church. I went through a stage of in activity and also a period of time where i would go to different churches just to see what they were like. However, when it wasnt sunday or there wasn't a speaker/preacher talking, Church and religion were just about the last two things on my mind. Like our first prophet wrote about his experience, All churches draw near to me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. I now can say that i know this for a fact. how? because i have experienced the different feelings that came from the different meetings. Now, as a missionary, a servant of the Lord, My testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is as firm and immoveable as can possibly be. So to answer the question, I am a "Mormon" because I experimented with others, and I can surely say that this is the True, and restored Church on the earth.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is through my attitude. I am kind to others, I choose to follow the Word of Wisdom which is choosing not to drink, smoke, or use other harmful substances. I try not to put myself in situations that I would be tempted to do something that would make me not temple worthy. I also try to be a good example to my friends and all the people that I meet. All in all, I just try to be the best person I can and that is how I show my faith.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
