Hi I'm Christina

I grew up with my grandparents who raised me Evangelical. I met my husband at 21 & told me about the gospel. We are 25s

About Me

My childhood was not a good one. My mother died at the age of 11 & my sister died in a car accident with me when I was 12 and she was 9. Only a yr latter from my mothers death. Before my sister died her and I lived with my father and stepmother. It was her Father & his wife that took us to the L.D.S church and there I was 8yrs old when I first joined the church. I went to live with my grandparents at age 9 & she was Evangelical. Later was quickly turned to hate the Mormons. Well I know that Heavenly Father Loved me, & did not want to loose me. Later at age 21 my husband came into my life.Told me how families could be together forever. That rang a bell. Some how it brought back memories of the dream I had when the missionaries told me to go home & pray about it before I was baptized the first time. I dreamed that I saw this man on his knees in a grove praying. With my church that I was raised in I just could not understand why families could not be together in Heaven like families here? When My husband said that Family's could be together for ever! I knew!!I got baptized again because my grandmother told me she got a Lawyer to get my name removed. So I got baptized again just to make sure! and I was not really sure that I did in the first place cause I was so little. I have been back in the church since then & we are coming up on our 25th Anniversary! Have 3 boys & 5 grandchildren. Thank you Heavenly Father for wanting me so bad! and helping me find the way back!

Why I am a Mormon

Families Can Be Together Forever!!! I had lost my mother at age 11 and then my sister at age 12 and my life was in a not good from the time I was born till I met my 2nd husband had said he was going to kill me and I told God that if he got me out of that situation that I would get right with him and marry who he wanted me to. Well being raised evangelical. I was thinking he would bring me a evangelical man. No! When the man of my dreams came to me and told me he was Mormon I said Oh! no! he said wait you come to church with me just once you will see we do not have horns. I fell in love with him and the people from then on. Heavenly Father opened my eyes and I saw the truth. Yes my family disowned me for a while and even said I was out of the will. I cried cause my grandparents that adopted me was the only parents that I new at the time. That hurt! The only stability I had from 16yrs till I met my husband at age 21. So it was me and my husband and our first son. Then when we got married in the Temple it was another 6month of no talking. Now the hole family talks and she calls me everyday and we are all speaking even though we are of different religions. I think they know we don't have horns. At family get together's we just do not talk about religion or politics. :)

How I live my faith

I help when ever I can teach then how to can food, store food or geneology or even the gospel and that know matter how hard life gets which I have been through it all! Your Heavenly Father loves you and wants you to return to him and you need to do these things to learn to take baby steps and learn more a little at a time. Then you finely see and you join the church and maybe join faster then me and you are there!! And continue to serve him in every way!!
